Update

Hi everyone! Sorry I haven't kept up with my posts here. I've made some really good progress with my art. I've tried some new things and had my art featured in an art show for the first time, where two of my drawings sold! I'm trying to challenge myself more and more with each drawing as well as trying to get my art out in the world more through art shows! Because I've been so inactive for so long I'll just post a couple updates in the next couple days of the drawings I've completed and any other exciting happenings with my art! Once I've caught up you'll get to see my exciting new project that I've been dreaming of working on for several years!

King of Beasts

White pencil on black canvas. The canvas creates a very different texture and is very interesting to draw on. But I really like the affect it creates!

BIG drawings!

I know I haven't posted in a long time. So I wanted to show you why! Both of these drawings are 19" by 24"! It takes a little bit longer to finish when you have that much space to fill. It's been a great experience though! Neither of the drawings are finished yet, but I'm getting there!

Rule The Sky

A project for my little brother! He's an aspiring pilot and his current favorite aircraft are these three: the Boeing CH-47 Chinook (top left corner and bottom right corner), the F-16 Fighting Falcon (center and left middle) and the Osprey (bottom left and top right corner)!

The pictures aren't very good but the paper was too big to fit on a scanner so I had to take the pictures with my phone. 

To Trust or Not To Trust

What I learned from this drawing? Apparently I need to practice drawing hands. I never realized it but I have hardly drawn any hands, I always do just the shoulders up. I had a lot of trouble with this hand, and I'm still not very happy with the way it turned out. So maybe my next drawing will be a hand study!

My current project, I'm taking another shot at Carrie Underwood. For some reason I have always had trouble drawing her so I'm determined to accomplish at least one good drawing of her! Hopefully this one turns out actually looking like her!
